London Ashford (Lydd) Airport – Lockdown England

As lockdown restrictions are eased we are focused on the re-opening of the business based on the safety of our colleagues & clientele.

Today we announce that London Ashford (Lydd) Airport will re-open on Monday 29 March 2021 (subject to Government Guidelines).

Further details can be found on the website.

We have worked hard across the business to ensure we are ready for re-opening, and we can now look forward to identifying opportunities for further growth.

Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic our priority has been to quickly and consistently take appropriate action to protect our colleagues, our clients and indeed the airport itself.

In January 2021 we were delighted to announce that we would be directly supporting the NHS at the airport by facilitating the roll-out of their vaccine programme to the local community.

As the country and our local community emerges from the restrictions necessitated by the Covid-19 pandemic our focus will switch to actively pursuing initiatives and opportunities that allow us, and businesses associated with us and/or located at the airport, to enter a period of growth that strengthens as the recovery gathers pace.

This enforced pause has enabled us to devise short, medium and long term strategic plans for the airport that are centred around the growing global emphasis on promoting sustainability and we have been encouraged by the interest and support we have received from like-minded businesses and stakeholders.

Our intent is to ensure that the airport is well positioned to make the most of available opportunities as the economy recovers.

We look forward to sharing more information with you in due course.
