The course has matured well over its first 12 years, our championship quality design ingeniously taking advantage of the natural terrain to provide challenging greens and fairways that test all players abilities.
with 10 lakes for water hazards and a blustery wind that often blows in from the sea, bringing with it ever – changing weather conditions, no two rounds are alike! Small wonder, then, that the course is widely regarded as one of the finest golfing venues in Kent, on par with the areas more established courses.
The course also has a 24 bay floodlit driving range and a five hole acadamy course for beginners and those who wish to improve their short game. A resident golfing professional is on hand for expert one – on – one advice, covering everything from technique to the types of equipment.
Lydd Golf Course boasts all the facilities you would expect from a modern golf club, including a warm and intimate clubhouse, plenty of parking, disabled facilities, full hospitality services for upto 140 people, a club restaurant, lounge and fully equipped professional shop.
